Orbital Set to Release First New Material in Six Years

It's been quite some time since we've heard new tunes from Phil and Paul Hartnoll, but the brothers who comprise Orbital are finally set to release the double A-side single "Don't Stop Me" and "The Gun Is Good" digitally and on 12" on June 20.

 

Though the veteran duo known for sprawling, complex and hypnotic techno tracks like "Are We Here?," "The Box" and "Halcyon+On+On" called it quits in 2004, Orbital slowly began booking festival gigs last year. The new single, which will mark the group's first new material since 2004's The Blue Album, will coincide with their appearance at this year's Glastonbury Festival, where the Hartnolls originally bowed out six years ago.
