Entertainment Weekly reports that Michael K. Williams, perhaps best known for his portrayal of Omar Little in The Wire, has signed on to play Ol’ Dirty Bastard (or Dirt McGirt, Big Baby Jesus, Freeloading Rusty, etc. ) in the forthcoming biopic, Dirty White Boy. The film will explore ODB’s unorthodox relationship with former manager Jarred Weisfeld, who first met the the rapper as a 22-year old VH1 intern in the early 2000s.

ODB was serving a three-year prison sentence at the time. Dirty White Boy’s producers have claimed that the film, which is being scripted by Brent Hoff and directed by first-timer Joaquin Baca-Asay, will blend “Risky Business and 8 Mile.”
