Since "Pop Lie" is the catchiest, most rocking number from last year's The Stand Ins, it makes sense that Okkervil River would tap the track to be released as a single. On April 21, the band will release that single via Jagjaguwar. Along with the original version of "Pop Lie," the release will include a "One Man Band" version of the track, as well as "Millionaire," a song that was left off of The Stand Ins. Both of the b-sides feature Will Sheff playing all the instruments, so his bandmates can just sit back and enjoy the songs with the rest of us. [Pitchfork]
