Of Montreal EP coming in June

An EP only available at recent Of Montreal shows will get wide release from Polyvinyl in June. Entitled Icons, Abstract Thee, it contains five songs originally slated to be on Hissing Fauna when Kevin Barnes was planning to make that a double album. Second track "Voltaic Crusher/Undrum to the Muted Da" has previously been available as a 7" single and was on last year's Suicide Squeeze ten-year retrospective. It's a killer song, with Kevin Barnes ranting at god not to be an asshole and then turning the rage on himself, claiming he's a flaw and a mistake. Good times! The rest of the tracks on Icons are: "Do Og Meg," "Derailments in a Place of Your Own," "Miss Blonde, Your Poppa is Failing," and "No Conclusion."
Stumble It!

FYI - all of these except "Miss Blonde" are on the vinyl release as side 4

Dudes. That EP has been available forever and not just at shows. You could have even bought it through Polyvinyl when the album came out! Fact checking isn't only appreciated, it's fun too!

Thanks for the info, Josh H. The sarcasm falls flat, though. Being available at shows and through the label website does not a "wide release" make. Therefore, I don't find anything factually wrong with the post.
