Liam Gallagher calls fans of Radiohead and Coldplay “ugly and boring”

Some people just can’t live without a little drama. As soon as Liam Gallagher made some conciliatory remarks about having a beer with Jay-Z, he felt the need to draw the ire of Coldplay and Radiohead by calling their fans “ugly and boring” and adding that “they don’t look like they’re having a good time.” Gallagher went on to say that he also didn’t really care for any bands that are playing today, preferring the Beatles, the Kinks, the Sex Pistols, and Neil Young.

While it’s a given that Coldplay, Radiohead, the great majority of their fans, most animals, and people in general don’t really care what Gallagher has to say, one of these days some irate fans might take a mind to hooligan him, especially if they’re already bored, unhappy, and have nothing to lose in the looks department. Dig Out Your Soul, the new album by Oasis, is due out in October. Gallagher should attempt to pick at least a couple more fights in the interim. [Gigwise]

You have made me a happy man.

In return, I will also verb hooligan from now on. (And, while I'm at it, "verb".)

I'll threaten to hooligan anyone who complains.

he is just saying things to gain attention...its not even honest anymore. he is just using the media and the attention he recieves to gain attention for their new album. Radiohead is legendary, coldplay is epic...and Oasis is in need of music to prove their worth amongst those names.
