Oasis talks new album

Via: NME
Oasis patriarch Noel Gallagher recently spoke to the NME about the progress of the band's follow-up to 2005's Don't Believe the Truth. "Our producer Dave Sardy is coming over for the BRITS, so I guess we'll have a chat and kick around some ideas. I've got eight songs that I'm pretty happy with."
"Liam has got one or two that he thinks are brilliant. I fancy doing something more elaborate with this one. It's about time."
You're right, Noel, it is about time. In fact, it's ridiculously beyond time, but let's not get into that.
Anyone excited at the prospect of a new Oasis album? Leave some comments below.

Losers...Rock poseurs...Maybe instead of the Stones or the Beatles who they think they are the reincarnation of, they will try to be Journey this time around. Liam Gallagher is too egotistical for his own good...The best thing for Oasis is to disappear off the face of the earth for about ten years find themselves and maybe they can find their way again. The bands first two albums were absolutely ace, everything else has been shite.

The first THREE Oasis album were great. Be Here Now, although extremely long, still had the songs. The next two - not so much.Don't Believe The Truth was decent, nothing great, but it was **** like "Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is."I'm up for a new Oasis album.

Christ, their last album wasn't that bad, especially compared to the two before it. They're not here to save rock or anything, but they can put out some decent work if they get their shit together. I'm optimistic.

Oasis is probably one of the worst bands of the 90s, if not of all time. I cannot wait for people to stop caring about this awful band.

Gonna be great with no doubt. Every album has been great, and this one will be the same. Rock n Roll will live on.
