Oasis talks new album

Oasis patriarch Noel Gallagher recently spoke to the NME about the progress of the band’s follow-up to 2005’s Don’t Believe the Truth. “Our producer Dave Sardy is coming over for the BRITS, so I guess we’ll have a chat and kick around some ideas. I’ve got eight songs that I’m pretty happy with.”
“Liam has got one or two that he thinks are brilliant. I fancy doing something more elaborate with this one. It’s about time.”
You’re right, Noel, it is about time. In fact, it’s ridiculously beyond time, but let’s not get into that.
