Oasis getting lifetime achievement award

In case you need more evidence to prove that Oasis remains forever loved in the U.K., the band will receive a lifetime achievement award on July 4 as part of the Silver Clef awards in London. Previous winners include actual legends U2 and Paul Weller. Other awards to be given out that night include

Best British Band, Best International Act, and the Icon Award. Oasis will receive those as well. Kidding. [NME]
