Merge Records has announced the addition of rock/country hybrid Oakley Hall to their ranks. The Brooklyn six-piece has already released two albums this year--February's Second Guessing and Gypsum Strings in June--so we'll have to wait awhile for the Merge debut, tentatively scheduled for fall 2007.
Oakley Hall's also at the end of a series of tours that's seen the band on the road more days than not since May(!) You can catch their final show for the time being tonight at the Mercury Lounge with Micah P. Hinson.
