NYCTaper Captures Live Grooms Set
If you're not familiar with NYCTaper, you can pretty much guess what they do from their name. Their blog acts as an archive of recorded live performances from New York, often featuring local artists. They recently sat in on a live performance from New York noise pop trio Grooms at Brooklyn venue the Rock Shop. Fans of Grooms' Sonic Youth-influenced 2009 effort Rejoicermay be excited to hear that the set consists mostly of unreleased material from Grooms' upcoming 2011 release Prom.
