NYC's Kemado/Mexican Summer Records Curates "In The Pines" Fest at Big Sur, featuring Gang Gang Dance, Haunted Graffiti

Festivals in New York City mean one of two things: marathon lineups in broken down backyards deep in Brooklyn or car/train/ferry rides to New Jersey/Upstate.  Thankfully, a ripe opportunity has arrived for NY record label Kemado Records, who have anounced that they will be curating a day of festivites at the legendary Big Sur in California (pictured above). Kemado, along with it's recently born vinyl-only imprint Mexican Summer, as well as Big Sur concert promoter (((folkYEAH!))) have anounced a few of the artists that will play at In The Pines, on Saturday, August 29. Take a good look, because this partial line up already reads like a textbook of the leading avant-psychedlia of our time:

Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti

Dungen

Farmer Dave Scher

Gang Gang Dance

Kurt Vile

Saviours

VietNam

Wooden Shjips

Woods
