A nude photo featuring Madonna spread eagle in 1979 sold for $37,500 yesterday at Christie's. An unnamed European bought the picture, which had been expected to sell for only $15,000. The image had been sold to Playboy in the mid-80s, and published in 1985, along with five other nude photos. Those other five sold for $7,170 in 2003. Clearly this one must be amazing.
