It turns out that Carney's influence isn't so obvious here, as Tennis still sound just like Tennis. All brittle, delicate indie pop with cooing vocals, and flying guitar riffs. But I guess it'd be ridiculous to expect that Carney would turn Tennis into a shit-kicking outfit in one album. Listen below:
