Well, 2013 is off to a stupid start. FACT (via Mixmag) reports a new website calling itself EDM Casting is pitching a new reality show centered around the exciting (read: potentially lucrative/possibly unintentionally hilarious) world of electronic dance music competition. Interested parties are invited to fill out a questionnaire online. Sample questions include: "Describe your personality (the good and the bad)," "BRAG! What are your best assets? Physical, material and social." There is also quite a lengthy "Appearance Release" that, among other things, probably asks applicants to sign away the rights to their dignity, soul, and legitimacy both as a "creative performer" and as a human being.
