New Yorkers, save the date. On February 10, at the Irving Plaza, the PLUG Awards will be handed out, and many a nominee will grace the stage. Booked to perform so far are Deerhoof, El-P, Silversun Pickups, Tokyo Police Club, and Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks. Mr. Malkmus will be given this year's Impact Award. Because he's old, and unfortunately so are all of us who are big fans of his. David Cross will host the evening's festivities.
