'Crazed fan' accused Noel Gallagher of nicking his lyrics

Oasis are now under police guard while holed up at Abbey Road Studios after a stalker popped in last week and threatened to beat up Noel Gallagher, according to a report in today's edition of The Sun. The newspaper reports that ''"a crazed Greek fan''" was in ''"a proper rage''" when he confronted staff and demanded to speak with Noel about song lyrics on the new album that he claimed Noel had stolen. What? Oasis stealing music? Impossible!

''"He claimed that he had written all this material that Noel had nicked off him for the new album,''" the Sun reported a source as saying. ''"The fella was fuming and was threatening to beat Noel up over it all.''" By the time police arrived the man had fled. The Sun then went on to weave in a little commentary about the disruption of ''"the creation of rock'''n'''roll history.''"
''"It'''s an important record for them and with music in the state it is in at the moment, we certainly need a big one from one of the UK'''s heavyweights.''" Oasis have nine songs recorded so far and will keep a police presence for the rest of the recording.

I feel like there's some sort of work out there that's begging for "Crazed Greek Fan in a Proper Rage" to be its title.
