The inevitable solo career from Noel Gallagher looks set to emerge in the not-too distant future, and the former Oasis guitarist has been talking about his next move with British tabloid the Daily Mirror. Gallagher seems to have put the tumultuous split behind him, and claims not to think too much about his brother, Liam.
“I’m having a good time, and the support from my fans has been great,” he said. “I’m looking forward to doing my own thing, bringing out my own music. I’m glad that’s what people want to hear. I am not thinking about much else, Oasis or Liam, I’m just having a good time.”
Meanwhile, Liam will continue to make music with the remaining Oasis members (Gem Archer, Andy Bell, Chris Sharrock) under a different band name. The popularity of each of these projects will prove fascinating, with the competitive brothers likely to be at loggerheads once again when their respective new music is released.
