Beth Ditto is just basking in adulation lately. Having already been praised by Lou Barlow in an interview this week, The Gossip frontwoman received some kind words from, of all people, Noel Gallagher. Speaking to the NME, Ditto says that Gallagher personally invited her and the group to Oasis' BRIT Awards afterparty and shared the following thoughts:
"Noel Gallagher said I had one of the best voices in rock. To me that's great. I had a huge Oasis poster on my wall when I was in junior high. This was Arkansas, where no-one has heard of Oasis."
Seeing as Noel hates Liam's voice lately anyway, maybe the pair should form some new supergroup. Just a thought...
