Noel Gallagher has always got time to shoot his mouth off about something. On Thursday (July 16) he showed up in Spain with Oasis to play the Benicassim Festival, which he has subsequently described on his blog as “a waste of time.” The band’s set at the festival was plagued by sound problems.

"Benicassim?" he wrote. "What a fuckin' waste of time! If it wasn't for those bloody kids it would've been a disaster. I really can't say enough about the crowd. Unbelievable behaviour.” Noel them proves what a renaissance man he is by saying: “Special mention to the topless birds – what a welcome sight that was!”

The sound cut out during “Wonderwall,” causing Liam to momentarily leave the stage. Noel elaborates further: “The problem was... wait for it... yes! The fuckin' PA. It blew twice! And the monitor system blew twice! It's becoming a joke. And not a very funny one."
