VBS.TV has introduced two new contestants to the visceral thrill of thwacking a hollow ball back and forth across a table with paddles. Dean Spunt and Randy Randall, the Los Angeles duo better known as No Age, have agreed to compete against VBS host Thobey Campion, and the stakes are high. A loss for Spunt and Randall means they will have to wear garish t-shirts designed by Campion. A victory for No Age allows them to shave a pattern of their choosing into Campion’s hair. Who will win? All the highs and lows from the game are recounted in this clip.
Music video and rock-doc director Lance Bangs has also been focusing his lens on No Age. Bangs shot a short performance and interview with the boys in a Vegan grocery store in Portland, Oregon. The store is named Food Fight, which proved to be an appropriate moniker. “I didn’t expect the spaghetti sauce to fall,” muses Spunt, as he reflects on their riotous set amid the stacks of tofu and beans. This clip was also shot for VBS, who seem to be enjoying a lengthy love affair with No Age (see also: this feature).
No Age

That was a pretty funny video.
