No Age and the Flaming Lips Meet Ice Cream Man (Video)

Ice Cream Man is a legendary figure to festival-goers all over the U.S. This summer, he set off on a road trip across the country, where he attended festivals and handed out free ice cream to audience members. He claims to have distributed around 200,000 ice creams during his jaunt—that’s a lot of ice cream.

Fortunately, Ice Cream Man also had plenty of encounters with bands during his trip, and has documented many of these on camera. Babelgum has been streaming many of these clips in a series called Road Tippin’ with Ice Cream Man, and presented here are some of his meetings with the Flaming Lips, Times New Viking, and No Age.
