Nina Nastasia and Jim White make music together

Well here's quite a collection of talent with an interesting new project. Singer-songwriter Nina Nastasia and Dirty Three drummer Jim White have teamed to create You Follow Me, slated for release August 14 on FatCat. The album was recorded by Steve Albini in his vaunted Electrical Audio Studio in Chicago. Kennan Gudjonsson, who has long aided Nastasia in her musical ventures, arranged the album's songs. And of course the Dirty Three isn't the only musical act White has played with; he's also helped out Cat Power, PJ Harvey, Smog, Bonnie "Prince" Billy and others. He's been backing Nastasia since 2002.

no they arent the same. - I thought the same - but was verified by a reliable source that this is not the truth. I would have been impressed had it been the same person, though
