Nicki Minaj Wins Big At BET Awards
Nicki Minaj has to be the first artist to ever win a bunch of BET awards without releasing an album; the Young Money rapper won three awards (Rookie of the Year, People's Champ, and Made You Look) tying with Jay-Z for awards won. Jigga won awards more serious than one for looking good; he won album of the year for Blueprint 3, Best Live Performer and Perfect Combo for "Empire State of Mind." Because this is BET however, the awards have been announced, but the show hasn't aired. It's on October 12. So, you know, no spoilers. [DS]
