Nicki Minaj Hits Number One On Billboard

Good news for record labels out there: Sales weren't at an all time low this week again. Instead, the number one album in the country sold 44,000 copies, or 4,000 more than Amos Lee's number one album did last week. The number one album? Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday, which has been out for 11 weeks, and just now hit number one (it debuted at number two). This week also pushes Minaj past the million albums sold mark, which is a big deal for a female rapper. 

Things aren't all peachy: The charts are so week that a Christian rock band named Red hit number two. Where art thou, 40,000-selling satan loving bands? Where art thou? [Billboard]
