Nick Drake rarities album on the way

Via: Drowned in Sound
Late English singer-songwriter Nick Drake may not have have found acclaim during his all-too-brief life, but he now sits in his rightful place as one of the most esteemed artists of his genre. Drake only released three albums during his career, but now comes word that Island plans to release Family Tree, an album of Drake rarities, in the coming months. No tracklist has been made available as yet, but the album is said to consist of never before released material. It's expected to be released sometime in the spring or early summer.
In other Nick Drake news, A Skin Too Few: The Days Of Nick Drake--a documentary on Drake's life--will be screened at this year's SXSW festival.
