Nick Cave Says Sorry...to Kylie Minogue and Avril Lavigne

Nick Cave has issued an apology to Kylie Minogue and Avril Lavigne (On a side note, putting those names in the same sentence makes my head want to explode). Cave, whose newest novel is titled "The Death of Bunny Munro," explained in a BBC 6music interview that the titular character has an unhealthy obsession with the two singers.

NME reports that Cave said, "I would like to publicly apologize to both of them, especially Avril Lavigne. Because the writing about her is darker and more invasive I guess. I know Kylie and at least, I hope, she will take it in the spirit it was written."

For more on Cave's new book, visit the novel's webpage here. For more on Kylie Minogue or Avril Lavigne, check out Star or OK! or The Enquirer or you catch my drift. [NME]

This guy has been battling the devil for decades, and it turns out he backs down when the real demons come along.

Considering the book was based on the S.C.U.M. Manifesto, it would be interesting to see if, 10 years from now, a broken down Avril Lavigne will go Valerie Solanas.
