Nick Cave and Andy Serkis To Work On Motion-Capture Version of 'The Threepenny Opera'

Nick Cave is pretty well known for taking on surprising ambitious projects, more recently in the world of film, but he might be topping himself with his latest. Screen Daily reports that Cave is working with Andy Serkis to do a motion-capture version of Bertold Brecht's capitalism critique, The Threepenny Opera.

Presumably, Cave would be providing the music, the original of which Slashfilm describes as "Teutonic stylings and early jazz." However, considering Cave's writing work, it could be something entirely different altogether.
