Yoko Ono collaborates with The Flaming Lips, Cat Power, Antony and others

Via: Pitchfork
Yoko Ono has come up with an interesting twist to her forthcoming album, Yes I'm A Witch. Rather than write an album of new material, what Ono did was enlist the artists she was interested in working with, and give them access to her entire back catalogue. The artists in question then picked a song they wanted to rework, and Ono "provided [them] with the vocals and whatever other instrumental elements attracted them from that cut. Almost all the artists chose just the vocals." So, Yes, I'm A Witch is essentially a hybrid of remixes/covers/duets. It should see release sometime in February on Astralwerks. The tracklist is after the jump.
