New Willy Mason album on the way
Oh, to be Willy Mason. The boy (literally--he's flippin' 22) has quite the life. Radiohead and Bright Eyes like him a lot. He's big in Britain. He somehow puts folky, M. Ward-like albums on the otherwise electrocentric Astralwerks Records. Hell, at 22 I was still thrilled to be drinking legally, and therefore didn't get out of bars much.
Mr. Mason will release his sophomore set, If the Ocean Gets Rough, on March 20th. The record, recorded on Martha's Vineyard, will be full of more of Willy's singer-songwriter observations on modern life.
