Japanese umbrella makers have created perhaps the new evolution in umbrella technology: they’ve made an umbrella into a personal stereo system. The umbrella will be outfitted with four speakers, and will be powered by motors on the umbrella’s tips. The umbrella is designed so that the only person who can hear the music is the person directly under it, sure to be good news for those fearing forced Tokio Hotel listening sessions on rainy days. If there’s enough interest in the product, the company plans to retail the umbrella for $100. [Gizmodo]
