New Strokes album on the horizon?

Get ready to dust off those tight jeans and appropriately distressed $1200 leather jacket, because the boys in a quaint band called The Strokes, are reportedly working on a new album.

On the band’s Web site, bassist Nikolai Fraiture wrote, “I’d like to say I’m still looking very forward to a fourth album release. We just need to work out a few technical kinks. It’s been a long break, but much needed for us to remain together as a productive band.”

The kind of technical kinks that led to an album as uninspired as First Impressions of Earth? I hope so.

the strokes are rock n roll. i hope the new stuff is bare and raw. their rock n roll cred would immediatly be thrown out the window if pharrell had anything to do with their next album.
