While it comes as no surprise that neo-soul singer Raphael Saadiq’s upcoming album The Way I See It will feature longtime colleague and lover, Joss Stone, the LP does include one or two unexpected appearances.

Saadiq’s album will include a few harmonica chords from none other than the infamous Stevie Wonder on the first track, “Never Give You Up.” Unlike some of Saadiq’s previous works, The Way I See It, will be comprised solely of live instrumentations for a more authentic soul sound.

The album is scheduled for release in mid September and Raphael Saadiq’s work can also be found on the upcoming albums of Solange Knowles, Bobby Valentino and D’Angelo. [Billboard]
