The resident downtempo kings of Norway are ready for another record, since they achieved The Understanding back in 2005. Röyksopp's newest creation, Junior, is already written and features contributions from fellow Scandinavians Lykke Li, Karin Dreijer Andersson and Robyn. Unfortunately, the title isn't a reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1994 tour de force.
"Anyone should be at liberty to think it's a reference to a man's cock," Berge said speaking to Stereogum. "Our concept though, is somewhat different. But we cannot reveal it at this stage. Not yet."
Only "somewhat different?" Dammit, I'm intrigued Röyksopp!
The duo's first single, "Happy Up Here," will hit March 9, followed shortly by the album's release on March 23.
