After the release of their spotty soundtrack for the even spottier film Idlewild, it was clear that rap duo OutKast needed a break. However, now, after four years of seperation, it appears that Big Boi and Andre 3000 have something "brewing."
In an interview with Zane Lowe from BBC Radio 1, Big Boi gave slim, though promising news in regards to OutKast's future plans. "That's all top secret information now. We can't let people know what we're doing. You better know that something is brewing," said Big Boi.
For those who need a temporary OutKast fix, Big Boi's upcoming solo album, Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty, will feature two tracks with Andre 3000. And, though this hardly needed to be confirmed, Big Boi is quoted as saying that a track which Andre 3000 produced for the album is "crazy" and "bananas." Big surprise coming from this guy. [via NME]
