The New Order reunion, sans bass player Peter Hook, looks set to continue a while longer following shows the band played in Brussels and Paris. Today the group announced its first U.K. show in five years, which will take place at the Troxy in London on Dec. 10. Tickets go on sale at 9am U.K. time on Nov. 4, expect them to go fast.
It’s surprising the band isn’t playing Manchester to celebrate its return, but the members of New Order have always done things their own way. This show is likely to open up a conversation about how long this reunion will last, and North American fans will no doubt be hoping for some shows on these shores. Hook certainly hasn’t been shy about coming here to play his reconfigured sets of Joy Division songs.
