New Michael Jackson Song "Breaking News" Streaming In Full
The inevitable trawl through Michael Jackson’s unreleased songs has begun in earnest, and will result in a pre-Christmas cash cow for Epic Records when they issue the Michael album next month. The record is set to feature the rather lofty cover art that decorates this post, and “Breaking News” from it is currently streaming for one week only over at Jackson’s official site.
On first listen there’s nothing too remarkable about it—this is the kind of Jackson-by-numbers hit that the singer had been pushing out for a number of years following his peak success with Thriller and Bad. But the clamor for anything Jackson related following his death is almost certainly going to result in huge sales figures, and no doubt Epic is already scouring the archives for further follow-up material.
