I really don't think Madlib sleeps. His only competition in terms of steady, quality output are Moka Only and (maybe) Bun B or Lil Wayne, when it comes to guest verses. But Madlib consistently holds it down with creative, forward-thinking music. We previously announced his 12-part, monthly series Madlib Medicine Show. But he apparently also has a jazz record ready to drop this spring. According to Stones Throw, Miles Away is a "jazz fusion album which has been tweaked and revised for over two years when it was first announced." If it's anything like his previous jazz efforts, expect plenty of madness (no pun) and steady grooves.
