New Jersey's WFMU Needs Your Help

Jersey City's public-sponsored freeform radio station WFMU saw this year's spring fund drive fall short of the station's goals, and the lease on their radio transmitter lost. Despite these hardships, WFMU wants to continue on, and is hosting an emergency 24-hour fund drive that began just an hour ago.

While most radio isn't worth saving, a publicly funded radio like WFMU that has brought its listeners some truly great moments, such as comedy from Tom Scharpling and Superchunks' Jon Wurster, most definitely is.
