New Goon Moon album rising

Via Billboard:
Rock Weird. Weird Rock. That's exactly what Goon Moon will be doing when they release their sophomore album, Licker's Last Leg, April 28th on Ipecac. Who be Goon Moon? The rather unholy triumvirate of bassist Jeordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez of Marilyn Manson's band fame), singer and guitarist Chris Goss of Masters of Reality, and Hella drummer Zach Hill. White cites quite an eclectic bunch of influences on the album, from Joanna Newsom to Deerhoof to his lingering Mansonite tendencies. Licker's even includes a cover of The Bee Gees' "Every Christian Lion Hearted Man Will Show You." There are no known tour plans for now, since Hill is busy touring with Hella, White with Nine Inch Nails, and Goss is producing the next Queens of the Stone Age album. But White says he does hope the three can find some time to play a few shows in support of the new material.

That bastard Zach Hill has to calm down. Between his recent records with Hella, Goon Moon, Damsel, Shred Earthship and a pretty ridiculous touring schedule with Hella, I bet he hasn't had time to spend with his girlfriend. Slow down son, you don't want to end up like Anna Nicole Smith. At the very least, maybe you could stop drumming so goddamn fast?

Dudes look scary. If they eventually tour, I wonder if they'll rock those masks.
