New Gangrene Album Dropping Jan. 24
Producers/rappers Alchemist & Oh No, otherwise known as Gangrene, have announced the upcoming release of Vodka & Ayahuasca, the duo's full-length follow-up to 2010's Gutter Water. Like their debut, Vodka will see both men rhyming and producing, with guest features from the likes of Prodigy, Evidence, Roc Marciano and Kool G Rap.
Ayahuasca is a hallucinogenic mixture typically associated with various parts of South America. It contains the strong, naturally occurring psychoactive DMT, so Al & Oh could be on their wildest game yet. The drug is ingested, and Marciano will be on a not-so-subtle track called “Drink Up.”
The sophomore LP drops Jan. 24, 2012 and its first single, “Dump Truck,” assisted by Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, hits the public Nov. 21 of this year. [Decon]
