There were rumors swirling that Fall Out Boy were going to rush-release their new album yesterday, in a bid to become a mainstream version of Bloc Party and Girl Talk. Instead, the group released a mixtape yesterday (titled Welcome to the New Administration), and announced their new album, Folie a Deux, will be out on Election Day, November 4 via Island. The album is the group’s follow-up to 2007’s Infinity on High which is sold 1.3 million copies.
