New Dead Weather Album On Tap For April Release

In an interview with Australia's Triple J radio station, Jack White said that he'll begin mixing the new album for The Dead Weather in two weeks. White went on to say that the new album is "bluesier and heavier than we ever thought it could be" and that he, rather than Alison Mosshart, would be handling vocal duties on the its first single, "Blue Blood Blues." White made no comment about a possible title for the album, or whether he actually believes there's still an audience for a rock record in 2010. [NME]
