New Daft Punk live album shockingly reveals group as human after all
The album, to be released at a late 2007 date not yet finalized, will feature a set from a show recorded in Paris on June 14; some copies will feature a second disc of the show's encore. Fans can also look forward to a video directed by Olivier Gondry (yes, Michel's older brother) of the album's single, a live version of Discovery's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger." A la the Beastie Boys' documentary Awesome, I Fuckin' Shot That!, the video will feature footage shot by fans at a Brooklyn show. In the meantime, Kanye West's appropriation of the song, "Stronger," is set to be released on August 21, and, of course, is already available for free all over the Internet.
