New Animal Collective Album (Possibly) Out in December

It’s been like a whole nine months since the last Animal Collective album dropped (I think it was called Merriweather Post Pavilion, you might be aware of it) but apparently the band (might) have another album ready to go this calendar year. Amazon has a pre-order page set up for an Animal Collective release called Fall Be Kind, an Animal Collective-related product that is being released by Domino. Now, we know it’s not some kind of reissue, because the band is putting out Campfire Songs again in January. It’s probably either a condensed rarities comp, or a new record, and I think we know what we’re all hoping (new record, obviously). Someone should pre-order this and see if you get some kind of message about what it is. [Pitchfork]
