Neutral Milk Hotel Box Set Due Out In November With Unreleased Music

You're going to need to hit pause on that Neutral Milk Hotel video game for a few minutes, y'all, to soak this one in. Frontman Jeff Mangum has put together a brand-new website for the band to announce a vinyl-only box set that's set to feature previously unreleased music from the seminal indie rockers.

Due out in November, the package, which you can view here, includes the following: two gatefold 12" records (In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and On Avery Island), two 10" records (Everything Is EP with bonus tracks and Ferris Wheel on Fire EP featuring eight previously unreleased acoustic recordings), two 7" records (Little Birds and previously unreleased You've Passed/Where You'll Find Me Now), one 7" picture disc with fold-out poster (Holland 1945/Engine), and two 24"x24" posters.

To hold us over in the meantime, Mangum has uploaded some unreleased tunes to the website for streaming and he will regularly post a 30-minute radio show on there, too. Not only that, but he's selling drawings for $15 a pop and announcing more tour dates soon.

The box set ships Nov. 22 and you can pre-order it for $88 (plus shipping) here. You will also be able to download mp3s of the unreleased material at a pay-what-you-wish rate on Nov. 22.
