Willie Nelson's brush with the law over marijuana possession has come to an end, as long as the singer isn't arrested in the next thirty days. Though there had been some talk of Nelson playing "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" and paying a $100 fine, Judge Becky Dean-Walker had none of it. She did, however, reduce Nelson's charges to possession of paraphernalia, a charge which comes with a fine of $500. Nelson, a long-time legalization advocate, was not present in the courtroom when the deal was agreed upon- probably not much to do in Hudspeth County if you're worried about staying out of trouble with the law.
