Neil Young has been a popular topic of discussion of late. From getting angry at his audience in New York, to getting angry at the Canadian government, there have been no shortage of headlines during his latest tour. Today though, more news came out involving Young, this time involving Jack White, and a possible collaboration between the two.
While nothing has been confirmed, Michael Goldberg is reporting that Young and White have recorded a full album together, which will consist entirely of covers. Goldberg says that like'y songs to be included on the album range from Bob Dylan's "Blowin' In The Wind" to Gordon Lightfoot's "Early Morning Rain."
In early January, White revealed that he was in the midst of finishing two albums, one of which were his. In December, a fan website for Young stated that a new record was on the way, filled with renditions of other artists songs.
It is thought that if an album like this is released, it will be on White's record label, Third Man Records. Keep checking back here for more information.
