Neil Young Helping the Homeless, Possibly Still Looking For Someone Who Didn’t Find Trans Opaque

Neil Young has made some questionable artistic decisions over the years, and he hasn’t been shy about burning bridges with everyone from Crosby, Stills and Nash to Crazy Horse. One thing that can never be taken from him is that he has, even during his rockabilly phase, maintained a generous spirit. Though he has already been named the MusiCares person of the year for his work with the Bridge School and Farm Aid, Young was recently seen chatting with homeless people outside his manager’s office in Santa Monica, eventually taking an ailing lady to the dentist. Jam! Music’s Linda Massarella says that this is the type of philanthropy that Young does incognito, which begs the question of how she found out in the first place. [Twenty Four Bit]
