Back in the halcyon days of a pre-post Paul Newman world in September, Ne-Yo made a joke/strange statement to a reporter for the Daily Star: He wanted to work with Marilyn Manson. Ne-Yo said that Manson’s people contacted him and they talked about maybe getting together. But now things are getting serious: They are setting up recording sessions where they’ll collaborate on songs for a new Marilyn Manson record.

No word on when said album will be out, or if the sessions will lead to anything. But remember kids, your wishes to meet a shock rocker could come true. [EW]
