NBA Investigating Jay-Z's Visit To Kentucky Wildcats Locker Room
This past Monday morning, photos began appearing online of Jay-Z's visit to the University of Kentucky Wildcats' locker room following their win over the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. And on its face, it might seem like a harmless, friendly visit from the rapper. He was apparently there with his friend Worldwide Wes, who is buddies with Kentucky coach John Calipari.
But then you have to remember that Jay-Z is a partial owner of the New Jersey Nets, which makes technically makes him NBA personnel. As such, he was in violation of the rule that league personnel cannot be in contact with players until they have declared for the NBA draft.
According to HipHopDX, past infractions around the league have shown that Jay-Z will likely face a small fine. Even so, someone needs to remind Memphis Bleek to get Jigga a copy of the rulebook.
