Nas Wants To Help Bring Back Kidnapped Promoter

Yesterday brought with it one of the flat-out craziest stories we've reported on in a minute when it was revealed that a concert promoter, Patrick Allocco, and his son were kidnapped after Nas no-showed for a gig on New Year's Eve in Angola. To sum it up, they were abducted because a promoter/organizer in Angola demanded he get his $315,000 back that he wired to Nas and the opening act.

The two kidnap victims were eventually picked up by the local U.S. Embassy and brought to a hotel, but the two sides were still trying to figure out how to settle the financial debt. Well, it looks like Nas wants to help. Sources close to the rapper told TMZ that he never intended to hold onto the money, but his team was unclear to whom it should be returned. Their goal, though, is to make sure Allocco and his son are safely returned to the States. Also, Nas doesn't want to be blamed for the incident.
